A seasoned organizer, facilitator, and strategic thinker, embodied practitioner, and relationship builder. Rae’s creative thinking and radical dreaming help to inform their approach to dismantling systems of intersecting oppression through grassroots organizing, electoral strategy, developing and conducting political education, coalition building and developing leaders. Currently the Senior Campaign Strategist at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) National (2026). Former Field Director at the National LGBTQ Taskforce (2022), serves on the Community Funding Committee for North Star Fund’s Let Us Breath fund (2016), serves on the advisory committee for the Brown Boi Project (2025), co-founded and former Executive Director of the Newburgh LGBTQ Center (2016-2022), former Director of the Empire State Poverty Reduction Initiative in city of Newburgh, former organizer at Community Voices Heard, former member of and staff at Critical Resistance Northeast chapter.
